Don’t mess around with any other paint besides B Moore! Lowell and his crew are the best paint experts in Gainesville. If you value your time and don’t want to risk getting an off paint color I highly recommend Central Paint. I wish more businesses operated like these guys! They are quick, on point and always a pleasure to deal with.

Covid free since the beginning, friendly and experienced staff. I’ve personally preferred Benjamin Moore products for almost 50 years…and unlike so many businesses now…just look at the exterior, not a weed or piece of trash in sight!

They don’t wear masks half the time. Visited at least 4x.

Latest visit, I saw a store full of bare faced people.

The paint’s good, the service is nominally good, but I’d never recommend them.

Also, YMMV, but I’m a woman and a non-contractor and everyone I spoke to was a different flavor of pedantic with me.

I have rented pressure washers and bought paint from Central Paint Store for more than 20 years. Courteous, professional, excellent quality paint that lasted 12 years inside and 6 years outside with medium grade paint.
I would not go anywhere else.

I understand Benjamin Moore has about a gazillion levels of paints, but to be out of plain white semigloss in their lesser expensive Regal Select paint? Doesn’t sound like this store has much on the ball as far as management who can keep up with inventory. Husband wasted a trip across town to be told oops, we’re out of white paint in Regal but he seemed to have all the more expensive white in stock. Store has a very tiny, rather hard to get in and out of parking, and generally grumpy employees. This was our last trip there, we’ll go to Sherwin Williams from now on, they actually DO have white paint, I called, gave them the name and level of the BM paint and the man said “of COURSE we have it” it’s a big seller. Bye bye Benjamin Moore, hello Sherwin Williams.
