Boxcar Beer & Wine Garden

What a fun place! We were playing through and staying down the street. We enjoyed great beer and a pizza from Humble Pie pizza truck fire dinner. Both were amazing. We had a blast playing pinball like we were teenagers again. A perfect date night on our trip.

If you go for the park and the view you’ll enjoy Boxcar. If you go wanting a nice wine or a well made cocktail you’ll be disappointed. They do have a very solid selection of beer and it is all very well priced (ie inexpensive). The wine selection is as simple as it gets and they don’t have hard liquor. However,you can go on a nice day, order a beer and people watch.

I really like this place. It is a good place for happy hour with coworkers or a place to hang out with your family.

Chill spot with a couple of food options. The pizza from the food truck was great!

The Boxcar is located on very nice grounds that has a playground for kids and a small pond with a fountain. There’s a variety of seating with both sun and shade. You can also bring a blanket to spread out on the lawn. Food is not served here, but there is a food truck and two other venues.
