Service wasn’t the best; you don’t really have one waiter we had several different workers attending to us and they didn’t refill our water for the longest time. My food was okay, i tried a patacon for the first time but i got baited into adding extra cheese on top for $2, but it would have been better without the extra cheese. it did taste pretty good though, and the portion size was large. i think this place is a little overpriced though, the sides are $3-$4 so maybe if you get a few of those it might be better than an actual meal.

I don’t like giving bad reviews and also thought I was going to love this place based on all the amazing things I heard about it and because I love hispanic food. I’m hoping it was just a one off night and I’m thinking of trying it again.

The atmosphere of this place is super cute and the wait staff is also amazing! The waiter recommended trying the crispy pepito and I also got the tinkers special arepas – the total before tip was ~$30.

The meats on both of my dishes were very dry. They both also seemed excessively oily (which is understandable for fried chicken)

For the pepito, I know the chicken was fried but it was really tough to eat and you couldn’t really bite off a piece of the chicken without taking the whole thing. Everything else about the dish was good, but when the main meat isn’t enjoyable it’s difficult to enjoy the dish.

The tinkers special arepas came with sirloin steak which was cooked well beyond medium and rather oily. The steak was super duper tough and chewy (in a bad way) and once again made the dish hard to enjoy. I love arepas otherwise but my experience with these were not that good.

Overall i’m disappointed to say the least and hope to come back and leave an updated better review one day! It’s not the staff or the atmosphere, my food was just not well prepared.

The food was DELICIOUS! And our waitstaff was great. Very attentive, accommodating, and nice. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu. Also, pro-tip… Definitely get the lemonade! You can thank me later!

Thoroughly enjoyed our first Venezuelan food experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. Drinks were delicious and food was very flavorful and filling. Will definitely be returning with friends and family. We are also vegetarian so it was nice to have a good variety of things to enjoy not just a couple options like we normally see. Highly recommend

ultimately one of my favorite spots. arepas are my personal fave (have to get the fried cheese) & the last picture of the burger doesn’t even show how truly of a monster it is. truly an amazing place.
